♥ YESTERDAY ♥
They can take tomorrow and the plans we made (plans we made)
They can take the music that we'll never play
All the broken dreams
Take everything
Just take it away, but they can never have yesterday
They can take the future that we'll never know (no no)
They can take the places that we said we would go
All the broken dreams
Take everything
Just take it away (oh oh), but they can never have yesterday

♥“The Beauty of Love”♥
When it is total and pure
Love is true and merciful
When it is without measure
Love that is unblemished
Is totally beautiful
It seems like a star
On the sky that never falls
Love is a gift, perfect and due
That we must cherish
It total beauty
We must appreciate
And then you know it becomes endless if we try to manifest it
The beauty of love depends in our faith.
♥“A rebirth of my heart”♥
After that painful depart
I’ve overcome the sorrow
Ready to face tomorrow
It was just yesterday
When my life turned to gray
But then you came along
With a love that made me strong
As I look into your eyes
I could imagine a paradise
Then suddenly I feel
A love that is real
I thank God
For the love that we shared
I promise to cherish you forever
‘till death do us part.
“Farewell”
And I’m gonna be left grieving
I’ve nothing left to do but say
Take care of your self each day
You’ll be going to new places
And you’ll surely meet new faces
Some of them maybe pretty good
Yet some may put you out of mood
You’ll be thousand of miles away
But here in my heart you will stay
Because you will forever be
A very special part of me
So farewell to you my darling
It’s you I’m gonna missing
But I’ll just hope and pray
We will cross paths again someday…
♥“Love Letters”♥
Which makes me giggle and glow
My cheeks turned red
When my classmates smiled and glanced.
“How are you” is so sweet
And flashed a smile that I couldn’t keep
The feeling that I have inside
Grows free and wild.
As I go on reading
I couldn’t help in giggling
Cause all the words you’re telling
Are really breath taking.
How nice of you to say “take good care
Which only means that you care
But one sentence is missing
Which made your letter lacking
As I end up reading
I couldn’t help giggling
At the same time longing
To read the three words I’m expecting
As I folden your letter
I notice something
You folden it three times
Which means the three words I’m expecting.
“True Love has it all”
Smiling tough weeping
Happy though frowning
Injured but says nothing
Blind though there’s vision
Illuminated though obscure
Deaden though wake
Right though it’s wrong
True love has it all.

♥Family Therapy♥
At first, Dr. Brand thought this was inappropriate and unsanitary. Over time however, he began to notice that the patients receiving this loving care from family needed less pain medication. They were being soothed by people who loved them. This “family therapy” brought the warm and care of home into an unfamiliar place.
We can learn from this example of love and care for our family. Those who belong to Christ are part of the spiritual family and need to be aware of the hurts of the other members. The apostle Paul said, “If one member suffers, all the members suffer with it” (1 Cor. 12:26). This principle requires that we find practical ways of soothing hurts. Do you know a Christian brother or sister who needs “family therapy” from you? --- Dennis Fisher
A thoughtful word, a gentle tear
Will help to lift the heavy load
Of weary souls along life’s road. --- D. De Haan
Article: True Friendships Are Special Gifts That Last Lifetimes

"Savor your friendships as you grow old; many are silver, but one is pure gold."
This is sage advice for those who have been fortunate enough to find that one true friendship. Or perhaps you have maintained friendships from your days in elementary school. Whatever the case, friends are previous gifts we give to ourselves.
As children, friendships are vitally important, most notably as it relates to the socialization process. Meeting a new friend the first day of school is essential, especially if one is particularly shy. Perhaps another girl would sense the shyness and offer a hand in friendship. Forming friendships with others from different cultures enhances a child's early experiences as well, and plants a seed that is healthy and which can be nurtured throughout life. But, preserving friendships are often difficult, even under the best of circumstances. Whether a friend moves away; or leaves school; or becomes ill, it is especially hard on a child. They are resilient, however, and somehow cope with the loss.
As the child becomes a teen, the word friendship takes on a different connotation. While some teens exhibit the closeness and bonding prevalent during their parents' day; others are not so conducive to this type of friendship. Instead, they form gangs which they refer to as their family, and commit acts which were unheard of twenty or thirty years ago. It makes one wonder if this type of friendship is born out of a home where caring and nurturing is non-existent. Or has peer pressure to act and dress a certain way erased all that was taught in the early years of their childhood. Girls become vicious to each other; more so than boys, and it's inconceivable that a meaningful true friendship exists in that environment.
Perhaps as we grow older, the child in us returns to the very first day we attended school.
We appreciate and value the friends we've made in our adult life because they ground us; keep us balanced; watch out for us; protect us; care and help us when needed. True friendships require no expectations; they are unconditional by nature, and bring out the very best of who we are. We rely on each other for comfort; rant and rave knowing our friend will simply listen; discuss issues which we are passionate about, knowing we will be understood. Laugh together; cry together; then eat ice cream while laughing all the more. How rare is that kind of friendship? How blessed are we to have a true friend who will allow us to be who we are, without judgment. Yes, very rare indeed.
As we reach our golden years, our friends may have passed on, but the memories are still intact. We take out the old scrapbook and reminisce as we thumb through familiar pictures. Suddenly, we laugh and look to one side saying, "Remember ..." then stop. A single tear falls down our cheek. We look up and smile because the years have not taken away the recollections of our youthful days, nor has the light of true friendship been extinguished.

Reaction
The article paints a thousand of words. From its saying, “Savor your Friendships as you grow old, many are silver but one is pure gold”, I can say that the author really understand the exact meaning of true friendship.
A relationship of mutual affection and good will, that’s how the dictionary defines the word friendship whereas the writer of the article defines the true friendship as special gifts that last for a lifetime and friends are precious gifts we give to ourselves.
From the time when we are still a child, friendship is really important. Our mother is our first best friend because she takes good care of us under all circumstances and protects us from danger. As we grow older, we begin making friends with other people, classmates or neighbors. Nowadays, a person who has true friends is fortunate enough. We believe that friends are always there for us, whenever we need them. But a true friendship is not a one way road that we could only get our personal benefits. It should not be like that. We should learn mutual understanding to one another. It demands commitment form one another in your circle of friends. We cannot say that disputes will not arrive within your friendship, because in this world nothing is just right.
In our teenage life, friendship have varied meaning coming from different minds of teenagers. We form our different groups of friends. Some teens would rather choose their parents as their friend that they can open and share their problems to them. Some teens would also engage in the world of gangsters. Gang is one of the problems that we face today from the youths. In fact, it cannot bring advantages or good results to the young people who are fond of joining gangs. One of the awful results of joining gangs is teenage pregnancies. These teenagers who join gangs state that the reason why they join such is because of their family.
Based on my experience, friendship really helps me a lot. I have my own circle of friends but I have also my good friends out in the circle and I’m happy that I could manage my friendship the way I handle it.
My friends and I share laughter together. I have no doubt in telling them my secrets because I know they will not spread it. They are good and active listeners. We tackled issues and share our opinions about what’s happening in our classroom or even in and out of campus. We eat our lunch together and laugh at things we find funny. But nothing is perfect, right? And so our friendship also has its flaws. Like now, one of our friends experienced the so called “infatuation” with a certain guy and it really affects our friendship towards her because she has no time for us and she forgets to share and open her problems to us. She cannot go with us anymore because of that guy. By that basis, I can say that we need to strengthen our friendship so that no one could ever rupture it.
Friendship is like a plant that we are taking good care. From a seed to plant, we need not only water, sunlight, air and fertilizer but also we need to protect it from pests or anything that would damage the growth of the plant. Friendship also needs defense so that it would last for a lifetime. As a friend, we need to take good care and guard our friendship from harm in order for our friendship last forever. Trials and test may come but this are intended for good to make the companionship strong.
We can nurture our friendship by meeting them regularly. If you feel that something is bothering him or her, try to talk to and help him or her in his or her problem. Sharing jokes would also do. Many things could actually help your friendship go strong if each and every one of you is truthful with one another. Good friends are rare and one must care for your closeness carefully.
As I said previously, friends do help me. They protect me, care for me and help me when needed. They give me advice. Certainly, they are my shoulders to lean on. Good influence is what they are to me. My friends are important for me. My life will not be complete if they are not with me. Life with friends is different from life with no friends. It is justly important to have those people whom you can lean on in hard times or good times. In hard times, you need them for support. You can find basis with what’s happening in your life with the passed experiences you have shared.
My friends are not only with me during happy moments but also they are with me when I feel down. They can make me laugh in times of crying. They give advices that would help me in my decisions. They know me more than others do. The article states that “True friendship requires no expectations; they are unconditional by nature, and bring out the very best of who we are.”, and of course this is all true indeed. We need not to expect something in return, we only have to do is to be true to your friends with the best of who you are. I don’t know how our friendship started but one thing is for sure we are true to one another. We have different lifestyle. Our characters just differ but we did come up to nearly perfect friendship. We share something in common. In a friendship, I think manner really matters. There is an adage that states that “tell me who your friends are, and I will tell you who you are”. I do not go for a bad influenced people because I’m afraid of what will happen to me next. I don’t want to mess my name with worth less things on earth.
The friendship and the memories are invaluable — truth.
“A PERSONAL INTEGRITY”

philo2; Reflection: Paper 1
Yes! It is true, we can easily critic other people, we love to point their mistakes but we are sluggish to cast the same critical eye ourselves. Time, space and other resources at our disposal should get better so that it can’t be move violently. All changes begin within us so then society starts to improve.
Living a life of integrity means peeking under the layers to find what is truly there for us deep inside. It’s shedding light on what we may not have seen about ourselves before. Rising to consciousness what has previously been unconscious helps us to make choices because we are now aware. We are in a place of being honest with ourselves.
“Our fridge can be completely clean-looking and, yet, there is an odor. Until we uncover and deal with the odor, our fridge really isn’t clean”. This metaphor sounds familiar to me when I hear it.
It’s that willingness to discover and learn from the ‘odor’ that helps keep our actions and words on track. We need to be honest with ourselves in order to do this. It’s not work for the weak. It definitely takes courage.
I myself admit that I can never be escape from this issue. Though I’m old enough to make my mind up the right choices in this tricky and thorny life, I knew already how to make a distinction from right and wrong. But sometimes I can’t. I need to be honest in order not to hurt somebody and I knew when and where to be use, but traditionally and ideally, it is not good. I can be frank and I can be unhonest.
I courageously look deep inside of myself. I know what’s my capabilities and my limits. What’s the best in me is that I love, believe and accept myself. If I noticed or recognize that this is not meant to me because I never had the capabilities of doing this I let myself resign or quit of it, thus I’m pretty much sure there’s a better person who can do this. Yes! I admit, I let myself to be popular, to be known but I never used my skills and abilities to turn out to be boastful. All I want is to show my talent what God gave to me hence God gave us the talent we must give the effort.
I can forgive myself but it often I can’t in the sense that if it is really my fault for the reason that negligence, inattentive and careless is within me. It can’t be easy to forgive myself until the gash will repair.
Therefore I conclude, the normal ways of transformation is to bravely look deep inside ourselves. Be honest within what we notice. Love and accept ourselves and the people who love and care for you. Learn to forgive others and ourselves too. Know how to embrace the learning that we had with compassion and love. Do not critic others but critic yourself first then it follows the changes of our society.
“let there be peace on earth and let it live within us”. It’s really wonderful to live with peace.

philo2; Reflection: Paper 3
When I asked some person what comes first in their mind if we talked about “Mindanao”, some would say rich in fruits specifically durian. And the majority said that it is the place for clash as it is said to be the Muslim’s place. There are misconceptions about Muslim Filipinos. Translate either wrong information or data about them in textbooks. Media is a tool that can trace negative aspects of the Muslim Filipinos. Stories about crime always carry the descriptive adjective “Muslim”. Yes! It’s true. All Muslims are good as the author stated in the paper. They are God-fearing, law-binding and peaceful. Muslims will do no harm to a fellowmen. In fact, they are defined as “one who submits willingly to the will of Allah. If truth to be told, there are Muslims who are Muslims in prayer but not in action or deed. Recently, 3 Red Cross volunteers were kidnapped and have them ransomed in towering cost. As the author thought that collaboration and clash are human behaviors. Collaboration is said to be the act of working together with one or more people in order to achieve something and clash is told to become into verbal or physical conflict with somebody. If clash is not properly handled, it may stay and even lead to high-intensity hostilities.
I agree to what author had alleged in the need for collective action. These are education, socio-cultural and spirituality. Education is very important. That's why; nowadays we cannot get a better job that can sustain our daily living if we only finished high school. The knowledge or abilities we gained through being educated is highly valued, people became more skillful in dealing with different kinds of situations. When we talked about social and cultural, we are relating or involving cultural and social factors. The author gave us the idea that traditional leaders, whose influence is still brawny, should be given a role to play in keeping the peace, development programs and protects, and socio-cultural activities intended to develop moral values, nationalism and adherence to democratic processes. And the last is spirituality, to have sincerity instead of mock politeness, hiding antagonism; there must be good will, the seat of sincerity. We have the adage “do unto others as you would others do unto you” and “do not do unto others as you would not others do unto you”.
Paper three talks about formula, a blueprint that can answer the Mindanao’s conflict. Until now it remains the same. It is not easy to role if the followers are not willing. The only way to achieve the formula we wanted is personal transformation. Changes starts within us, as the author believed, without personal discipline, and personal integrity no master plan for improving society. Since people in Mindanao, Christians, Muslims and even indigenous people have shared a common history of struggle against colonial aggression, why not let love shows and peace my win through. Majority of the Filipinos faced deep crisis why not take step to help than adding burdens. But as the author added, peacemaking is not the only step to end war, remove structural violence, or establish the presence of external value conditions. Hence, transformation involves the cultivation of a peaceful consciousness and character.
It’s my bliss to leave a message before I will end up my reflection. Therefore I will leave this message to help us awake and help us develop our self:
Choose your words, for they become actions.
Understand your actions, for they become habits.
Study your habits, for they will become your character.
Develop your character, for it becomes who you are.
“We do not own the whole thing perhaps we borrowed every single one.”

philo2; Reflection: Paper 2
The piece of writing talked about the relationship of organisms and environment --- ecology. As good stewards of God and as a rational being, we are responsible to take good care of our nature. We can also relate it about what St. Francis of Assisi uttered had; I had read about his life, I can say that he is a lover of all creation. Because when Francis was carried back to Assisi, where his remaining years were marked by physical pain and almost total blindness, his sufferings evidently did nothing to diminish his love of God and Creation, as exhibited in his “Canticle of the Creatures”, supposed to have been composed at Assisi in 1225, in which the Sun and the rest of nature are praised as brothers and sisters, and the often portray incident in which he preached to the sparrows. He was canonized in 1228. In 1980, Pope John Paul II proclaimed him the patron saint of ecologists. In art, the emblems of St. Francis are the wolf, the lamb, the fish, birds, and the stigmata. His feast day is October 4. Because of this, he respected and cared for all living things. He lived in a perfect harmonious with nature. I hope someday people think the way he thinks to prevent ecological problem. Ecological problem rises because of our negligence; we do not know how to take good care of our Mother Nature. One of these problems is clearly seen by now, it is the population explosion. “As the number of people increases, the quantity of supply decreases if and only if, no one minds to replace it”. Rapid population growth is a serious problem in as much as the earth and its resources are limited. And the following also are the major problems; issues illustrating the lack of environmental implementation: 1.) Mining industries and the contamination caused by mine tailings; 2.) Air pollution in urban areas, especially in overpopulated like Metro Manila; 3.) Water pollution, especially in overpopulated coastal areas like Manila Bay; 4.) Marine and coastal zone resource depletion - e.g. mangrove swamps, fisheries; 5.) Land use conflicts, affecting indigenous peoples and local communities. I had read in the article that plotting a corrective course for a country with such severe social and environmental problems as the Philippines is an enormous challenge. The damage has been enormous, and the extent of change required to turn the system from one of approaching disaster to one of long-term stability is intimidating. However, many aspects of the decline that began long ago have been reversed or at least slowed. One of the greatest problems for decades was a scarcity of accurate and current information on wildlife, forests, and the environment in our country. This is changing rapidly; newspapers now avidly cover stories about floods, droughts, deforestation, and highlight corrupt practices that come to light. Information is gradually making its way into grade school and high school curricula, and books about nature and wild animals and plants are being published increasingly frequently; Mother Nature is one of the most precious God’s gifts unto us. We need to take care of it because “nature can live without man, but man cannot live without nature. We can spend our life in anyway we like but we should also remember that we can only spend it once. We should not take for granted all the blessings that we have. We need to treasure it as we could not feel this again in our entire life. Hence we cannot paint happenings to come, we don’t know in the near future with just one click all of these will nowhere to be found. All of our life we are too dependent in our nature. We are clued-up that our major needs came from it; shoes and slippers we used, dresses we worn, and there’s a lot, and primarily air to breath, water to drink and food to eat. We need nature but we are the one who obliterate. Do you still care for our tomorrow? If you are going to ask me, yes I am! I care for our tomorrow. As a student nurse my intervention of this is to educate people. I would like them to know what are the consequences of not taking good care of our nature and what the advantages are. I bring to a close my reflection by saying “the key to success begins in our self”. We will change our self first before we change the whole wild world.

“Honestly Pretended”
I’ve just pretend I was not hurt
I’ve just pretend I have no regret
I’ve just pretend I never loved you
I’ve just pretend there was no you
Honestly the pain carves deeply
And no one can take it away
Every time I remember your name
I put my self into blame
Honestly I love you with all my heart
And I wish no one could break us apart
But it was me who went blind
For the love you gave me, now I must find
Honestly there was you
But I broke your heart into two
And I keep on wondering who?
Who deserves your love that is true?
“Goodbye”

♥i've got a crush on you♥
If I could only say “I love you”
I could have said it many times
But I don’t want to let you know
Because you didn’t seem to mind
When both our eyes met
I know I’ve got a crush on you
For when you’re away I feel I want to cry
To perhaps it means nothing….
Yet for me, it means everything
I force to forget you
Bu I cannot because
I LOVE YOU...
